What a Doozy

Wow, it’s been crazy trying to get on the computer the past week to write. Every time I’ve come to the laptop to write either the internet has been down, the computer won’t turn on, my baby is fussy or my toddler thinks he’s a competitor in American Ninja Warrior. It probably doesn’t help that we are smack dab in the middle of closing on our very first home (heck yaassss!) and packing is something I am really, really bad at. Ever look at everything you own and have the urge to throw it all in the dumpster just because it would be easier than moving it to a new location? Yea, that’s me right now. I like my stuff, its great and I’ve narrowed it down to the stuff I like (for the most part) because #minimalism but seriously, it would be so much easier to torch it and start fresh and move with nothing but the clothes on my back and our stash of cloth diapers and baby wraps. So tempting. But, I think my husband would probably have me committed if he came home from work to an empty house and me with the kids ready to move with nothing more than a backpack. Maybe? Maybe not. However, I am not willing to risk it — he puts up with enough of my crazy, one day he will have a breaking point and I really want to move into this new house, ha ha.
Anyway, I just wanted to touch base and let you all know that I have not given up the blogging thing half way into the first month of my year long commitment, although I do have major commitment issues. We’ve just been super busy and its been one lemon after another, thanks life.

Stay tuned, I’ve got some topics I feel the need to write about and share, but right now I’ve got to get ready to take my kids to a dinosaur exhibit.
